The Magical Adventures of Livia.: 1 Year Anniversary!

Once again, we've been slackers! There is so much to report since our last post- 2 months ago. For starters- we've celebrated Livia's 1st birthday! It was a true celebration! More to come on that. The second week of June we made a trip back to Cincinnati for a close friends wedding. It was an entire weekend soiree, and Grandma & Grandpa Fekete even came with to stay with lady love so that we were able to have an adult evening! While in the Buckeye State we were able to take in a Red's game (Liv's first MLB viewing). It was a quick, jam-packed weekend, but thankfully we were able to swing through Richmond and spend a few hours with Grandma Hileman-Taylor and The Rosenberger's (Aunt, Uncle & Cousins)! Hotel sleeping & two separate dips in a pool- later, an exhausted family were swept back to the Mile High. Since then, we've been graced with three different (separate) visits from friends- some, first introductions to Liv. She's a lucky girl! At the end of July, mommy celebrated her 30th- yes, it happened. And then for the main event! The second week of August family began arriving for Livia's first Birthday party and Baptism. Her one year pics were taken the day before her birthday (the 10th), the whole family had a Birthday dinner at the Aquarium Downtown. Saturday, the 11th was the day of the Circus. We chose a vintage Circus theme, in the end it had the perfect amount of old & new. It was a lot of fun for everyone- by everyone! Not sure that we could have pulled it off without our family's help. Liv missed her afternoon nap, which is normally a recipe for disaster. BUT, she was a trooper, we had 30+ people in the house at any given time. She gave attention to most all of her gifts and patiently and gracefully took in everyone staring at her and singing her least favorite song (Happy Birthday). Of course, she enjoyed her first stab at cake! Red icing was not thought through. ;) We are still recovering from all the fun! Enjoy the ~~pics~~ album below....
