The Times are a Changin'

Hello Everyone! It's been way too long since our last update, our sincerest apologies! What can we say...life has been changing, hectic, AND fun. Since our last post, Alisha has went back to work. It's been a roller coaster to say the least. Livia has adapted pretty well. We were able to get her in a pretty good daycare across the street from the Federal Center (where Mom works)....so she's nice & close- you know, just in case. ;) She has a favorite teacher at daycare which is comforting and concerning all at the same time. She doesn't like for her to leave the room. We know that we are fortunate that she likes someone! She has a good time and has enjoyed trying all the new foods and toys. She eats better than mom and dad. We're sort of jealous. She's had everything from meatloaf to ravioli to couscous. The downside is that she doesn't sleep well. That, and the combination and introduction to all the new germs & bacteria, her immune system has suffered. She has already had an ear infection and a lil' stomach bug. That was of course passed on to the rest of the family. We're all on the mend, however. We're getting excited for our trip back to the Midwest next week...only wish we were able to stay longer and see more friends & family. Someday soon! At 8 months and a day her two bottom teeth popped out. It was months in the making. We're still waiting on any followers. We'll close with a funny story. Well funny now. All of the concern surrounded Liv & myself with my first day back to work and Liv's first day at "school." Justin came home to find Csavo cowering in the picture window in the kitchen. The floor surrounding him was covered in shattered ceramic pots, soil, and plants; including Alisha's most fond and oldest plant-friend. There were a few other casualties. We're pretty sure he was stuck in the window all day, in fear of jumping down. You can find the evidence below. It's safe to say that he had a bit lot of anxiety being at home alone. Those who know him, can picture his awkward self in such a predicament! It should be noted that Alisha and Livia were fine and both had a surprisingly good day. Until next time....enjoy the recent pictures and video- Livia's new activity table. (Mom was real excited).
"Oh shit. What do I do now??"

Peacock chewing.

Her & her daddies favorite past time.

The smirk says it all. "You think you know, but you have no idea."

:)

waking up from a nap & meeting her new activity table
Figuring it out.
