Lil' Feet

The most exciting of days took place today. We had our big ultrasound which confirmed that Baby Fek was healthy, growing properly, AND the gender of our little person! Against most everyones beliefs including moms, our little person is a GIRL! Thanks to Dad, our evening was quite a special one. Dad arrived to the doc's office early (before mom) and arranged for the US tech to contact a little (amazing) cupcake place with the sex of our child, against our knowledge. On our way to dinner we stopped and picked up the cupcake, which quickly became clear to me the plan. We had an incredible dinner and pho-cocktails (at least for me). Afterwards, we cut open the cupcake to reveal pink icing representing a little lady in the oven! It was exciting & surreal, but thrilling nonetheless. Mom's quickly realized that pink will eventually have to grow on her, as it seems inevitable. :)
